2018 Year in Review- The Good, The Better, and The Best

Yeah, I was super tempted to name this blog “The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly”, but that’s not the ZooFit mentality.

My slogan (motto? mantra?) is “Eat clean, live green, train positive”. I could have easily said “Train Mean”, which is what many fitness programs promote. It’s a cutesy way to tell people you will be a bad-ass if you train with them, AND it rhymes. But animal trainers don’t think that way. We train positive. 30 Days of ZooFit: ZooFit’s Guide to Mental Health

I tote a lot of advice and promotion to physical health and well-being, but rarely touch on the topic of mental health. Perhaps because I think of myself as a little mentally unstable, I don’t think I’m qualified to share on the subject. But fear not, while I remain mostly crazy, I do have thoughts on getting mentally fit as well as physically. Level Up My Life- How I Write!

I’ve become engrossed in a book very similar to my concept of “Zookeeper’s Guide to Fitness”.  I thought reading a book with the same ideas as my own would cave my motivation, as I feared someone beat me to the punch, but actually I feel quite the opposite.   I am motivated and stoked to share another program with just a few subtle differences, to reinforce the first one.  They are on the right track, and I love what they are doing with fitness and achieving goals.  I am bringing more to the table.
