I promised I’d do these once a week. Brian Johnson from Philosopher’s Notes and Master Classes to Optimize Your Life told me that making a gratitude list even just once a week will help create more optimism and help me reach my goals faster and more efficiently.
But I’m in a pretty snarky mood, so we’ll see how this goes.
- I’m really grateful that Chris didn’t vote for Trump. Because I’ve gotten to the point from keeping up with news reports that I really really really wouldn’t be able to tolerate being with him if he had. And that would suck, because he’s such an amazing person and I love him with all my heart. But that wouldn’t have mattered. That’s how upset I’ve gotten with this whole “Trump Presidency” thing.
- I’m glad I’m not pregnant. Or have kids. That is all.
- I’m glad we are comfortable enough that I can experiment and play with our grocery budget to ensure we are buying the most environmentally friendly products possible.
- I’m glad we got a decent workout in today. We weren’t able to do our workout yesterday, which was for unfortunate reasons, so we really needed to do it today, but I was feeling pretty crappy, and I really didn’t want to go. But after our “Base-Push-All-Out”, my endorphins were kicking in and we came home in a much better mood.
Sorry, the snark is strong with me tonight.
#4 is definitely something to be grateful for!
