Own Your Wellness
I had so much fun talking with Julie Ann Meyer from Own Your Wellness. Her logo is a hummingbird, so we discussed how important the Hummingbird is to our healthy habits, and how training ourselves like zookeepers work with animals brings about lasting changes. It’s more than Broccoli and Burpees (although, let’s be honest, I love both)!

Dr. D's Social Network
One of my more interesting conversations I had on a podcast, and one of the most interesting connections– Darian and I met in person when we realized we lived in the same (very small) town in the PNW. We discussed zoos, life, and connecting life lessons from the animal kingdom to live your best life, and treat others well.
Creative Academy for Writers
May 19, 2021
The Creative Academy for Writers is a free online community that has helped me out tremendously. So, I decided to give back by presenting a Writers Wellness Masterclass. You do have to join Creative Academy to watch, but again, it’s free, and even if it was a paid membership, I’d HIGLY recommend any creative writer join.
In the talk, I discuss how our writing sessions start the night before with sleep, meditating to improve our creativity, and celebration as a wellness habit.
ZooLogic with Dr. Grey Stafford
April 8, 2021
I spoke with Dr. Grey Stafford on one of the most popular animal training podcasts out there to discuss how we can use the principles of animal training on ourselves to achieve any fitness or health goal we set, using only positive reinforcement and compassion for our own well-being.
Training Tails Podcast
February 2, 2021
I spoke with Charley on Training Tales about applying the principles of zookeeping and animal training to our own fitness, and how we can make a difference in our animals’ lives and the entire world while rocking out on our fitness goals.

Fancy Scientist
I sat down for a chat with Stephanie Schuttler, aka the Fancy Scientist, to discuss how scientists, whether they are zookeepers, researchers, or field biologists need to take care of themselves in order to take care of the world. We tackled some interesting topics, too.
#51: Animal Care to Self Care with PJ Beaven of ZooFit
Mother-Daughter Earth
One of my first (and one of my favorite) podcasts where I was a guest, Mother-Daughter Earth is two absolutely delightful and joyful women, Gina and Marianna (a mother and daughter) who are just doing their part to make the world happier and more sustainable. We discussed ZooFit and their excitement for ZooFit Safari.
